Student life: Housing & involvement
On- and off-campus housing
On-campus housing provides students with a home
away from home. Students can find community and
support in meeting their academic goals. Residence
hall communities are designed primarily for first-year
students. There are many residential programs and
experiences for students in their academic journey.
For more information about on-campus housing,
visit colorado.edu/living.
Many students live off-campus after their first year
at CU Boulder. Off-Campus Housing & Neighborhood
Relations is a great resource for students to find
housing, understand lease agreements, learn about
city ordinances, discover what legal resources are
available and more. Students can easily use Ralphie’s
List, CU Boulder’s online rental database, to help in
their housing search. Visit colorado.edu/offcampus
to learn more.
Student involvement
Getting involved is a great way for students to meet
fellow Buffs, discover new hobbies and interests,
and build their own community at CU Boulder. With
hundreds of academic, political, social, religious and
recreational clubs and events, there are many ways
to get involved! There’s something for everyone at CU
Boulder, whether students are looking for activities that
emphasize ethnic or cultural heritage, fraternity and
sorority life, political involvement, environmental
issues, leadership development, service experiences
or school spirit. To learn more, visit colorado.edu/
studentaffairs/student-life.
